1992 : Entrepreneurs Mr. Hafiz Mohd. Akram laid the
foundation of Hafizia Art & Crafts as a manufacturing and trading of handloom
dhurries in Sitapur on a very small scale, and started supplying to domestic
exporters
1993 : Hafizia indirectly supply to IKEA and supporting directly and indirectly
around 500 families.
1998 : A new factory of about 12731 M2 established to meet high demand for Hand
Woven rugs.
1999 : First direct order got from France
2004 : Exhibited for the first time in International Exhibition, Carpet Expo organised by CEPC
in New Delhi
2005 : Participated for the first time in Heimtextil India, Establish a new unit with 110
looms for Jacquard woven rugs
2006 : A new dyeing unit established
2007 : Exhibited for the first time in Heimtextil, Germany
2009 : Participated for the first time in Domotex, Hannover, Germany Achieved ISO 9001 : 2008
